In the spring of 1999, seven ladies
from St.'s Peter & Paul Catholic Church in West Bend formed an ensemble
to sing one song at a child’s graduation mass. Enjoying
that musical experience and deciding their sound was “not too
bad” they recruited another alto, named their group The Redemption
Singers and started singing at other events. The members of The
Redemption Singers have jobs ranging from the medical profession to
education to domestic goddess and are kept busy with their families.
Performing together has not only deepened their love and respect for
each other but also their faith in God. They truly believe that
“singing is praying to God twice” and enjoy sharing that
gift with others.
